ABI (Ankle,Brushing ,Index)

ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index) is a simple, non-invasive test used to evaluate blood flow and detect peripheral artery disease (PAD), a condition where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs. The test compares blood pressure readings from the ankle and the arm (brachial artery) to determine how well blood is circulating. A lower ABI value may indicate blocked or narrowed arteries in the legs.

Our Specialty

ABI is quick, painless, and essential for diagnosing PAD early, especially in patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or a history of smoking. Early detection helps prevent serious complications like leg pain, ulcers, or even amputation. Our facility uses accurate digital equipment to provide reliable results and guide timely treatment.
